Paul Friday joined Marlin & Associates in 2003 and has been working on Wall Street for 14 years. He is focused on entrepreneurial technology-based companies and has advised on more than 40 mergers, acquisitions, public and private equity and debt offerings.  Paul’s client experience includes advising firms such as Netik, Applied Financial Technology, Xcitek, Knight Trading, Cyber-Source, Insure.com, Javelin Technologies, ITXC, Global Securities Information (GSI), Derivative Solutions, Beauchamp Technologies, and Cameron Systems.  He has helped sell companies to E*Trade, InterActive Corp, NYFIX, Fiserv, Thomson, FactSet, Linedata, Interactive Data Corp (IDC), Orc Systems, and more.   Before joining Marlin & Associates, Paul was recruited into Robertson Stephens’ highly regarded software group.  Prior to that, he was at PaineWebber (now UBS) helping entrepreneurial Internet, media and telecom companies.    Working with many successful technology companies has given Paul a deep understanding of the way these firms operate and the characteristics of effective managers, as well as an ability to distinguish solid business plans from vague ones.   Paul received his BS in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University, Smeal College of Business.
